William Luz
b. 1984 Stourbridge, UK
Lives and works Plymouth, UK

William Luz is an artist whose practice explores drawing in an expanded sense through works on paper, print, ceramics and video with a focus on a process that aims to refer directly back to the act of making itself, the materiality of embodied drawing and the performative nature of an artist’s work.

He has an MA in Drawing from Arts University Plymouth where his research interests were focused on drawing, performativity and the point where art meets life and what this means for (his) work.

He is one third of Nous Vous and has exhibited in solo and group shows across the UK and internationally. You can find prints and books in his shop here or through Look Up Prints, Design Within Reach and Uprise Arts.
