I (b.1984, Stourbridge) am an artist and educator who is concerned with drawing, in that I care about drawing. Most recently I am interested in how I can draw without making drawings. 

Sometimes I draw things that people ask me to as a commercial artist, sometimes I draw things for myself, other times I make work about drawing, in a way to think about the personal and performative activity of art making. This work usually finds form as drawings, that often become cut up, reformed, layered and pieced together to make documents of action, collages of many little moments. 

The work also finds form as moving image work that reflects back on this action, thinking about process and trying to look at drawing from a different, embodied, expanded angle.

I have an MA in drawing with distinction from Arts University Plymouth where I now teach across the MA Arts programmes, I am a third of Nous Vous, have exhibited in solo and group shows and have had films screened across the UK and internationally and was the recipient of DYCP funding from the Arts Council in 2023.
